New classes coming to Oakville in the Fall
at a new location!
I believe Yoga is truly unconditional ... For me, this is not a question of 'adapting' poses - its asking questions to evoke a curious and kind exploration of each person's individual abilities.
I am a 500-hour advanced Yoga Alliance certified instructor with years of experience teaching in educational and studio environments. I'm a neurodiverse mom of three in my 50s.
My history in teaching and working with languages informs how I teach yoga and craft sessions to be so much more than just sequenced asana.
My training and background include a wide range of yoga styles, trauma-informed movement and presence, and an interest in yoga and the nervous system and improved quality of life.
In each class, I share my passion for the traditions, history, and philosophy of yoga and traditional Thai massage.
My style of teaching is flavoured with a unique blend of mindfulness, mobility, assisted stretch, and massage.

I have never done yoga before. Which classes are best suited for me?
An introduction to yoga workshop/series/class is a great place to begin to get familiar with poses (asana) and proper alignment/muscle engagement. If these are not available, you can try a beginner hatha class, a slower-paced class, or a smaller group setting. Private instruction is also a great option.
I'm not flexible. Can I do yoga?
Absolutely! Yoga helps to improve flexibility, among its many other benefits! Poses have different variations that allow for a variety of abilities and body types.
What is the difference between a one-on-one consultation and a one-on-one class appointment booking?
If you are looking for some guidance on building your own sequence for your personal practice, or need to work out some of the kinks with specific poses or practices - you don’t necessarily need to book an hour, and a 30-minute consultation is best. If you want a private yoga class led by me, then a 60-minute appointment booking is what you’ll need!
